After another profitable week last time out here we are with this week’s Super League Tips which include a game every day for Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday…
Salford v St Helens Tonight 7:45pm
Bet: St Helens 1-12
Odds: 3.1 Blacktype 3.05 188Bet 3 Betfair Betfred Bet365
Rationale: Saints are the better side here and look comfortably the second best side in the league so far. Alex Walmsley in his comeback game last week added some real go forward to this Saints pack. The main doubt for me though on them tonight is Matty Costello operating out of the centres. Salford are one of the best home sides in the league and put in a great comeback performance to kill our Hull KR bet on Saturday and with Jackson Hastings, Lui and Evalds they may have the best attacking 1,6,7 combo in the whole league.
Leeds v Wakefield Friday 7:45pm
Bet: Leeds 1-12
Odds: 3.2 188Bet Betfred 3 Betfair BetVictor
Rationale: OK. After last week I’m starting to believe in Leeds. I’m not flly prepared to commit yet though with a defensive vulnerability to the side still with Sutcliffe at second row and poor game management from Loloheia and Myler. However their pack are crushing it right now, the play the ball speed is great and Walker looks much better than last year. They look good on the edges with the ever awesome Watkins and the big running Hurrell. Wakefield’s new boy Danny Brough is the perpetual thorn in the Rhinos side and managed that Wakefield game beautifully last week. I don’t see the Rhinos running over this Wakefield pack but with home advantage and the power they possess they are definite favourites here.
Catalans v Warrington Saturday 5pm
Bet: Warrigton 1-12
Odds: 3.2 188Bet Betfred (Bet365 odds not available yet)
Rationale: Catalans lost last time out to Wakefield away by ten points and I think Wakefield away is about as difficult as Warrington at home for Catalans. Catalans have a couple injuries on the wing with Mead and Broughton both out but have sifficient cover there. My biggest concern with this bet is Gigot’s edge defence which is not good at half. But with home advantage and Warrington not quite puunishing teams the way I’d expect.
Huddersfield v Hull FC Sunday 3pm
Bet: Hull FC 1-12
Odds: 3.35 188Bet 3.25 Betfred 3.1 Betfair BetVictor (Some prices still not available)
Rationale: So for what it’s worth I lie this Huddersfield team. A lot, in some places Their edge defence is great and they have some nice structure. However… I don’t see where the game management comes from. Hull on the other hand arguably have the best game managing half back in the league in Sneyd and the electric Jake Connor. The Giants also lack a goalkicker on Sneyd’s level and while the Giants probably edge this in terms of ability on home field Hull FC massively beat the Giants at game management.
